The creation of the Banfflife website
has been an exciting project created by BanffLIFE - the Registered Charity (formerly the Banff Service Industry Network) . It has taken nearly one year and many long hours in meetings
and beating the pavement in search of the best information and advice
compiled by Banff locals.
Let me introduce you to the
BanffLife team:
Lanny Mann - Mountain
Adventure Coordinator
Jayd Blunden - Living Room
Supervisor
Lisa Davey – Training And Development Coordinator

Lanny and Jayd at Abbot Pass

Kim, Lisa and Colleen having fun introducing BanffLife to the community!
All of the decisions
regarding the BanffLife website were made by our Banff Workforce Advisory Committee.
This committee was made up of Banff locals between the ages of 18-35.
They volunteered their time every few weeks to meet and brainstorm to
design this website. With easing young new comers into the community
being their main focus, the Workforce advisory meetings generally
consisted of sharing experiences in Banff as young adults, which were
hilarious at times and compiling all the information so we could share
it with you on this site. We thought of everything anyone would need to
know before arriving in Banff and ensuring BanffLife is a useful tool to
use while in Banff.
I would like to thank our
amazing Banff Workforce Advisory Committee for taking time out of their
busy days to truly want to help other young new comers have a great
experience in Banff!
